Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury (Gameboy Advance)

Participate in the tournament by training on Dragon Ball Buu’s Fury

Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury takes place seven years after the defeat of Cell. So many things on Earth have changed. Gohan is a sixteen-year-old student from Satan City’s Orange Star High School, Trunks is eight, and Goten, the son Goku left for Chi-Chi before fighting Cell, is one year younger than him. Krillin married Android 18, and they had a daughter; Vegeta stopped fighting but not training. Unfortunately, the peace cannot last much longer. On Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury, Goku is training in the afterlife to participate in the Tenkaichi tournament that will soon take place on Earth. And it is from this martial arts tournament our heroes will face the new and fearsome Majin Buu. Again, this mighty warrior will be awakened after centuries of captivity by the son of the sorcerer Bibidy, the evil Babidi. Also, this time, the Saiyan warriors will have to fight to the limit of their strength to defeat this new enemy with a funny aspect. However, he also has immense powers.

What news is there compared to the previous title

Compared to the previous title, there are two significant innovations on Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury. The five-minute fusion and the transformation into a third-level Super Saiyan. They will be available only at the right moment of the plot. For example, the change into Super Saiyan 3 can only be done by Goku and Gotenks, resulting from the merger between Goten and Trunks. In addition, you can also play Vegito, the fusion of Goku and Vegeta with the Potara Earrings. In addition, you can also play Gogeta, the standard fusion between the two adults Saiyans. You’ll only use them once in the game when they’re needed. The game’s development, Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury, occurs in chapters. In addition to missions, the player will have the option of facing events. The characters will level up and gain experience points that we can use to increase the warrior’s strength, energy, and endurance. Additionally, in Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury, clothing and accessories will be available for our character, increasing his stats.

Use the special moves and collect the items

In the game area, we will be able to interact with the characters and background elements, such as boulders and chests. In addition, we will receive Zenia coins, food, drinks, potions to use at the right time, and different clothes. Other elements we can interact with Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury are the save points, where we can also change the character to command. The platforms from which we will fly to other parts of the game, the barriers you can only break down with a particular level of strength. There will be monsters, beasts, dinosaurs, robots, and bandits ready to attack you in the area we move in. We will use hands, feet, and the three special energy moves. For example, Gohan can perform Kamehameha and Masenkoha, while Vegeta can perform Final Flash and Big Bang Attack. Note, however, that these hits will consume the green energy bar. Also available to warriors is the transformation into the legendary Super Saiyan, which activates a yellow bar that, once finished, returns the Saiyan to its original form. Naturally, during the change, the value of your fighter’s strength, energy, and endurance will increase significantly, allowing you to cause more significant damage to your opponents. Also, unlike the previous episode, on Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury, we dodge the opponent’s blows.

Fusion will always be possible only through Trunks and Goten. To merge them, we will have to press a sequence of keys to see them engaged in their famous dance; in case of error, an anorexic or fat Gotenks will appear. The fights are simple on Dragon Ball Z Buu’s Fury, including the bosses. But, except for the evolutions of Buu and the Janemba, it will take effort. There will also be trivial enigmas and labyrinths. In addition, the Scouter will be helpful: a helpful gadget that will display the map of the playing area and provide you with a detailed description of the enemies. Finally, I want to mention the Z-Mart shops where we can buy food, potions, drinks, and clothing, paying with Zenias.

The graphics are good, but the story lacks crucial details

The graphics are simple but effective: each location you visit will be, in some way, familiar, will often be enriched by noticeable graphic elements and particular atmospheric situations. The game layout provides a slightly tilted aerial view, thanks to which you can control the world to explore. The protagonists of the events and the enemies are easily recognizable. The main villains are fun to see, but it’s not the same with the standard enemies. They attack from afar, from melee, which means facing one is equivalent to meeting everyone. You will not need to adapt your tactics with a snake, a wolf, or a robot, as they will behave identically. As for the plot, the events narrated in the game do not always correspond to those of the series. It’s a hastily told story that leaves out details. The narration, however, does not entirely concern the Majin Buu saga. The events of two Dragon Ball movies will also be narrated, albeit briefly: The return of Broli after being defeated, for the first time, by Goku, and the Janemba creature born from the wickedness of souls destined for the underworld. Those unfamiliar with history will find it challenging to understand the events. As for the sound, the music is awe-inspiring. Although not taken from the original soundtrack of the anime, they are genuinely moving and manage to reproduce the atmosphere of Dragon Ball impeccably.
